In 2023, a US ice cream business contacted us to create custom boxes for its products. The customer wanted four different themes, each with its own color scheme and visual style.
Turning Flat Artwork into Real Packaging
After receiving the inquiry, we first considered a suitable box structure and paper material based on the customer’s products.
The customer provided four flat design concepts in different colors. Our designer prepared the packaging dieline and carefully adapted each design to the box structure.
We checked the placement of the graphics, text and background colors to ensure that every element would appear correctly after the boxes were folded and assembled.
After completing the four packaging layouts, we sent them to the customer for approval. The customer was satisfied with the designs, so we moved forward with physical samples.
Samples Before Bulk Production
We produced samples so the customer could check the box size, structure, material, printing colors and overall appearance before placing the final order.
After receiving and approving the samples, the customer placed an order for all four designs.
The order included 500 boxes per design, with a total quantity of 2,000 boxes.
Flexible Quantities for Multiple Designs
Many growing food brands want to use different packaging designs for various flavors, themes or seasonal collections. However, ordering a large quantity of every design can create unnecessary inventory pressure.
For this project, the customer was able to produce four different designs without committing to a large quantity for each one.
Our support included:
- Box structure and material recommendations
- Packaging dieline preparation
- Artwork adaptation for four designs
- Physical samples before production
- Production of 500 boxes per design
- A combined order quantity of 2,000 boxes
- Design and production support throughout the project
Helping Creative Ideas Become Real Packaging
What made us proud was not simply the size of the order. It was seeing four flat design concepts become finished boxes that the customer could use for the ice cream business.
We understand that small businesses and growing brands often need more flexibility when testing new products or launching several designs at the same time.
Whether you need one packaging design or several themed versions, YTS Packaging can support you with box structures, materials, artwork setup, samples and small-batch production.
